In January 2023, Motum was privileged to be selected for a significant grant of 69.955€ through the EEA and Norway Grants 2014-2021, under the SME Growth Programme Romania. This marked the beginning of a transformative journey for us, one that not only catalyzed our growth but also brought our product to a competitive market level.

    Over the past year, thanks to this grant, we have achieved critical milestones that have shaped the trajectory of our startup. The funding supported extensive development on our app, enhancing its features and stability, and allowing us to introduce innovative elements like referral links and a reliable rewards system for our partners. These updates made our app more user-friendly and efficient, particularly in handling various transportation methods.

  The journey wasn’t just about product development; it was a holistic growth opportunity for Motum. The grant enabled us to secure our first paying clients and deliver a salable version of the app, affirming its market viability and potential for scale.

   An equally invaluable aspect of this journey was participating in the Oslo Innovation Week 2022, facilitated by a travel grant. This event expanded our horizons, connecting us with the vibrant Nordic startup ecosystem and enabling valuable networking opportunities that continue to resonate with our strategic goals.

   Our interactions with the grant officer and the entire team from Innovation Norway were incredibly supportive. Their guidance made the complex process of grant management smooth, allowing us to focus on innovation and implementation.

   As this chapter comes to a close, we reflect on the immense benefits we’ve reaped from this experience. Motum has grown not just in scale but also in capability and reach.
